Penrith Christian School required two new classrooms to accommodate year 2 classes as a result of increasing enrolments.

Having previously built a performing arts centre and staffroom for PCS, EPB was engaged to  design and construct a double inter-connected classroom building.

Important to the design was the requirement for the new building to integrate with existing school buildings. As well, extensive custom designed cabinetry was required to provide ample storage, large white boards and AV systems.

Both classrooms include advanced air-conditioning systems designed to maintain an ideal learning environment year-round, powered and managed by Hivve iQ clean technology.

In class Hivve iQ dashboards display real time data on solar energy generation and use, as well as temperature and air quality, enabling the school to effectively manage the quality of the indoor learning environment and energy use.
